Book Clubs Sponsored by IUS Library: Home

Are you interested in joining a book club? On this page you'll find a list of all the book clubs hosted at or on behalf of the IUS Library, as well as a list of other book clubs in the area. There's something for everyone on this page!

Welcome to the LibGuide dedicated to providing information on the various book clubs hosted by IU Southeast Library. There are currently four book clubs we offer:

1. Open Books - this book club meets on the second Friday of each month at 12:00 pm in the Library, Room 230. We meet to discuss popular fiction and nonfiction titles. This book club is open to anyone. If you are interested in joining, please email Courtney Block at coblock@ius.edu so she can get a parking pass for you!

2. Reading the Rainbow - this book club meets the last Monday of the month in LB 230 (Library Building) to discuss popular LGBTQ+ young adult/adult fiction. If you are interested in joining, please contact Christopher Proctor at clprocto@iu.edu for parking passes and more info. This book club starts July 29th.

3. Sellersburg Community Book Club - this book club is sponsored by IU Southeast Library but is held at the Sellersburg Public Library. It meets the third Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. All are welcome. This book club discusses popular fiction, with the rare nonfiction title thrown in. Parking is free at the Sellersburg Public Library.
