It Gets Better Project
Many LGBT youth can't picture what their lives might be like as openly gay adults. They can't imagine a future for themselves. This project attempts to show them what the future may hold in store for them.
The Trevor Project
If you are a GLBTQ youth who is considering suicide and you need help right now, please call the Trevor Helpline at 1-888-4-U-TREVOR for support. You are not alone, it does get better, and there are people who want to help you.
IU Southeast Resources
IU Southeast Spectrum
Spectrum at IUS is a long-standing on-campus organization which functions to both raise awareness of LGBT issues on and off campus, but also to provide a safe environment for LGBTQIA individuals and their allies to socialize, make friends, build bridges and find support. While our main membership consists of IUS students, we also advocate for IUS staff, faculty and members of the local community!
