How long can I keep an item?

All Library of Things items can be checked out for 7 days at the Service Desk.

How do I renew an item?

All Library of Things items can be renewed for an additional 7 days, unless a hold has been placed on the item. You can renew Library of Thing items by phone (812) 941-2485, or in person at the Service Desk.

What if an item gets damaged or is lost?

The library will accept replacements of items that were damaged (beyond reasonable wear and tear) or lost. Please contact the Service Desk at (812) 941-2485 to speak with someone about this option. If items are not returned or renewed within 30 days of their due dates, you will be billed a standard replacement cost of $60.00.

I would like to make a donation. Who should I contact?

We welcome donations of new or gently used items! Please get in touch with us via email at libhelp@ius.edu.
