Kit 1: Take a trip to Southern Africa! This kit provides a hands on travel experience without leaving your classroom. Using the twelve unity themes, experience Southern Africa through various maps, artifacts, books, and colorful representations that depict a culture rich in history and traditions. 

Kit 2: Get a hands on experience with numerous artifacts that add visuals to aid in student learning. Kit includes an inventory list of resources that are included.

The flag of Eswatini features a black and white shield, with a staff and two spears, on a field of blue, yellow, and red horizontal bands.

The national flag of Lesotho features a horizontal blue, white, and green tricolour with a black mokorotlo (a Basotho hat) in the center.

The flag of Namibia consists of a red bend edged in two white bands with a blue upper triangle charged with an 12-ray yellow sun and green lower triangle.

The South African flag has horizontal bands of red (on the top) and blue (on the bottom), of equal width, separated by a central green band which splits into a horizontal "Y" shape, the arms of which end at the corners of the hoist side (and follow the flag's diagonals). The "Y" embraces a black isosceles triangle from which the arms are separated by narrow yellow or gold bands; the red and blue bands are separated from the green band and its arms by narrow white stripes.
