Services for Alumni & Community Members

IU Southeast Library Logo

Alumni and community members are entitled to use the IU Southeast Library during normal operating hours.

Applying for a borrower's card enables you to:

* Check out books (30 days)

* Use the computers in the library

NOTE: Please see IU's policies on computer use on the IU Southeast campus.

* Do research using many of our online resources while in the library

Any Indiana resident with a valid government ID is welcome to obtain a borrower's card.  Any Kentucky resident from Jefferson, Bullitt, Meade, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, or Trimble counties is also able to obtain a borrower's card.

This guide also provides access to numerous free resources that are available to alumni & community borrowers.  Those that are available to Indiana residents only (through the program INSPIRE) are noted as such.  Our Kentucky alumni and community borrowers have access to Kentucky's Virtual Library resources.
