Kit 1: With the focus on the natural world and its inhabitants, this kit contains picture books, descriptive articles, newspaper clippings, and vibrant photographs to give researchers the tools needed to learn all about the twelve themes of unity within New Zealand and the South Polar areas. The teacher notebook in this kit contains ideas for educators to use the artifacts in their classroom.
Kit 2: This kit contains artifacts from New Zealand. The media notebook in this kit contains: currency, postcards, and descriptions of the other objects in the kit. The other objects are: whirl and stop balls, a stuffed kiwi (the national symbol), woven Maori headband, a New Zealand slang dictionary, pieces of a Paua shell, a map guide, 45 stamps, a kiwi carving, a pen set, birds and flowers cloth linen, The Great New Zealand linen piece, and a female doll in Maori traditional dress.
